LA Eater recently released their 18 best places to get fish and chips in LA.   I was looking forward to trying Seasalt Fish Grill.  I looked at their website and from this screenshot, taken July 29, 2018, they list their hours on Sunday from 11am-3pm.  I took a screenshot, because they could finally get a clue and update their damn website!

So, I'm near 7th St. and I call at 11:30am, just to make sure they are opened.  Nobody answers.  I call back 30 minutes later, samething, no answer.  Then I checked their yelp page, which lists their hours as closed on Sundays.

Why does the Seasalt Fish Grill yelp page have a more updated hours, than their official site?  Needless to say, I didn't go, since they are closed on Sundays.  I did call on Monday to tell them to update their website.  They have not responded to the email I sent.

Of course, Seasalt Fish Grill will be filed under terrible service!  They should have updated their website as soon as they changed their weekend hours.  It appears they have been closed on weekends at their 7th St. location for a while.  Yet, they never bothered to update their website!

UPDATE

At about 4pm on Monday July 30th, the owner of Seasalt Fish Grill replied to my email.  I read the email about 7:30pm.  He apologized for not updating their hours.  He offered to make up for wasting my time going there on Sunday!  He said that they are working to correct as he wrote the email.

Well, I checked their website and the hours STILL had not been updated, as this screenshot shows!!  And as I am writing this update, about 1:30pm on July 31st, I checked their website again and the hours STILL have NOT been updated!!

While I appreciate the owner trying to make up for his company's mistakes, there is something wrong with that company, if they continue to make mistakes.  Attention to details!  Updating the website with the current hours, isn't hard to do.  I have no idea when they changed the hours, but for them to still not have the hours updated, after the owner emailed me and said they would update their website, just shows me this restaurant doesn't pay enough attention to details!!  Sorry, but I'm not going to give this restaurant anymore chances!

No, the New Diner 2, hasn't turned into a review of anything and everything.  While getting my car washed at Island Car Wash and I was looking at David's Allen review of Grizzly's Biscuits and Donuts, and then I decided to give them a try.   My review of Grizzly's.

But, I decided to take a picture and review Island Car Wash because of the terrible service they provide.  Now, let's me be clear, the people who handled my car were great.  From the person who greeted me and asked what type of car wash I want, to the people drying the car, were top notch.

I am writing about the terrible service provided by that lady at the register!  When I first got to the register she is on her phone texting.  Then she had the nerve to continue texting while I'm right in front of her.  She had to be blind or stupid not to notice me.  Finally she gets off the phone and never says one word except the price of the car wash.  I'm guessing this lady is the owner or the wife of the owner because any owner worth a damn would not allow for such terrible customer service.

I would never go back to Island Car Wash because of the terrible service by this lady at the register!

It must be a full moon tonight, because for the second time another terrible experience at a restaurant.  My first terrible experience was the fairly new Far East Cuisine.  This time at Man Sun Japanese, a long time restaurant in what used to be Walnut, but is now Diamond Bar!

The restaurant is packed, but that's not hard because it's a fairly small restaurant.  

I want sushi for take out.  I get the sushi menu and place my order.  The guy takes my order and gives it to the two sushi chefs behind the sushi bar.  I go out to make some phone calls and then to see if the nearby liquor store has a certain beer I like, Kronenbourg.  I come back into the restaurant and a female server tells me they do not have a sushi chef!!  WTF are those two guys behind the sushi bar doing?  Why didn't the guy who took my order tell me, instead of having me waste about ten minutes?  What kind of sushi restaurant doesn't have a sushi chef on a Saturday night??  Stupid management and restaurant!!

Terrible!  I won't go to this terrible restaurant again either!!

I recently noticed Far East Cuisine and decided to give them a try tonight.  This location used to be Taza Fresh, which closed within a year of my 2008 review.

To be blunt, this place sucks!  The tables and floors are dirty and dingy.  I don't really mind because I'm ordering take out.  There is one lady waiting for her take out order and nobody else in the restaurant.

I'm at the counter ready to order, and instead of helping me, a couple walks in and the man who I believe is the owner, helps them!  They called in an order, but I should have been helped first!

I place an order at about 6:20pm and he tells me it will be 7pm until my order is ready!  Again, there was one woman, who got her order, before I ordered, so there is nobody in the restaurant!  So why would it take almost 40 minutes to get my two dish order?

Some people just shouldn't be in the restaurant business!!  Terrible!  I will not come to this terrible restaurant ever again!
